Coping with Creativity: Tanya Negrey Explores Expressive Therapies in Healthcare

The Centre for Integrative Medicine is hosting a presentation in the Integrative Health Seminar Series featuring Tanya Negrey.

"Expressive Therapies in Healthcare: Coping with Creativity" on Tuesday, Jan 28 from 12-1pm is open to the public and can be watched via ZOOM or in-person at the USask Health Sciences building, HLTH 3254, E-Wing.

Tanya will be discussing exercises for healing, growth and change, and she will be joined by RMT K.J. Moss, who will share about her healing journey that culminated in the publication of a poetry collection.

Expressive therapy is an umbrella term that applies to the practice of incorporating art, music, play, drama, poetry and dance into talk therapy sessions held by credentialed practitioners. Individuals of all ages affected by illness, grief and loss, trauma, depression, and addiction can learn to cope using creativity.
