Dr. Raj Hathiramani

Mental Health Consultant

Raj Hathiramani has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and an Honours undergraduate degree in Anthropology from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ont. In 1989, he received his Master of Divinity and was ordained as an Unitarian Universalist minister in 1990. He worked as a hospital chaplain for 11 years, before pursuing a PhD in psychology. He has worked in the field of neuro-oncology and acquired brain injury.Raj has worked on various reserves in Saskatchewan, where he specialized in counselling in areas of trauma and grief. Raj has assisted in the Residential School Hearing, supporting victims through their testimonials, and he has worked as Executive Director for two new Child and Family Prevention Programs.

Raj currently gives talks and seminars on addiction and trauma to various organizations in the province.
